Instant Film Prints ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website instantfilmprints.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our site.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you interact with our site:
- Order and contact details — when you check out: your name, email address, shipping address and (if you give it) phone number, so we can ship your order and email you about it. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Email address — also when you sign up for updates or a notification on our site.
- Order preferences — the print format, quantity, and style you select in our print creator tool.
- Photos you order — the finished print files for your order are uploaded to our order storage so we can print them. See "Your Photos" below.
- Usage data — pages visited, referring site, browser type, and general location via analytics tools (see below).
How We Use Your Information

- To send updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — processes payments and collects your billing and shipping details at checkout. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Resend — sends our order confirmation and shipping emails. Resend Privacy Policy
- Formspree — processes our email signup forms. Your email and order details are sent to Formspree when you submit a form. Formspree Privacy Policy

- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — we use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance and deliver relevant ads. The Pixel collects data about your visit including pages viewed, actions taken, and device information. This data may be used by Meta to show you targeted ads across its platforms. Meta Privacy Policy

Cookies and Tracking
Our site uses the following tracking technologies:
- Meta Pixel — sets cookies to track conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads and to build advertising audiences. You can opt out of interest-based ads from Meta in your Facebook Ad Preferences.
- Pinterest Tag — sets cookies to track conversions from Pinterest and to build advertising audiences. You can turn off ads personalization in your Pinterest privacy settings.
- Google Analytics — sets cookies to count visits and see which pages and steps people use. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — does not use cookies or collect personal data.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Note that this may affect the functionality of some features.
Your Photos
Cropping, filters and previews happen in your browser. When you go to pay, the finished print files (and only those) are uploaded to our order storage so we can print them. Photos from a checkout that is never completed are deleted automatically within 30 days; photos from completed orders are kept only as long as needed to print, ship and support the order.
Each uploaded print file is checked automatically for content we don't print (see our terms). The check is done by an AI image classifier (Google's Gemini API) that receives the image and returns a yes/no answer; it is not used for anything else. If an order is flagged, our staff look at the photos in question to decide whether we can print it.
Data Retention
We keep order records (name, email, shipping address and what you ordered) for as long as needed to fulfill and support your order and for our tax and accounting records. Photos are kept as described under "Your Photos". You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Opt out of targeted advertising via your Facebook Ad Preferences or browser settings.
